Marlin Dish: Pan fried Marlin with Pineapple Salsa
Ingredients
- • 1 lb Marlin Buy Now
- • 1 tsp Salt
- • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- • 1 tsp Garlic powder
- • 1 tsp Onion powder
- • 1 tsp Thyme
- • 1/2 tsp Lemon pepper
- • 2 each Limes
- • 1 cup Diced pineapples Buy Now
- • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- • 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
- • 1 tsp Minced garlic
- • 1 tbsp Chopped cilantro
- • 1 tsp Minced onion
Instructions
Preparation of fish
Rinse fish in lime juice rinse then pat dry. Coat fish heavily with seasoning mixture creating a crust. Place fish in a hot skillet with enough oil to barely cover the pan. Cook fish for 3 mins on each side depending on the thickness of the steak. Cook until desired colour is reached.
Preparation of Pineapple Salsa
Finely chop pineapple then add lemon juice, garlic, cilantro onion and sweet chilli sauce. Spoon over hot fish and serve.
